The Oppo RX17 Pro is now cheaper than ever in Amazon's Black Friday sale

Okay, we'll be first to admit that among all the incredible Black Friday phone deals you're looking out for, Oppo probably isn't a brand that's at the top of your wishlist. Fair enough. But a stunning Black Friday discount at Amazon might make you reconsider - the retail giant is currently offering a near half-price price drop on the Oppo RX17 Pro handset .

While we saw the price drop from the RRP of £449 to £330 in early November, Amazon has yet again brought it down - now the handset will cost you just £249.

Oppo might not be a household name in the UK, but it's actually the fifth-largest phone manufacturer on the planet. And, as you can read in our full review of the Oppo RX17 Pro , the Chinese company delivered a solidly reliable handset replete with all sorts of positive features and proved itself a solid contender in the smartphone scene.

In his verdict, our reviewer Alan Martin praised the RX17 Pro's bright, crisp 6.4in AMOLED screen, and the astonishingly fast battery charging time (yes, the latter is hardly one of the most glamorous attributes of a piece of tech - but it's one you'll certainly appreciate when you've forgotten to plug it into the mains overnight). One thing Alan did level criticism at, though, was the RX17 Pro's handset price: at the time £549, which was a good £50 more than its principal rival, the OnePlus 6T. Of course, that's now changed thanks to this excellent Amazon Black Friday deal.
